Who is Eligible?
The positions are open to applicants of any nationality. Applicants should typically have between 3 and 6 years of postdoctoral experience, know-how in a field related to the largely and overall scientific focus of the Laboratory in plant development and its computational modeling. Applicants should be capable of provide strong evidence of their prospective, potential to develop independent research programs.

Applications are invited for Research Career Development Fellowships to be held in the Sainsbury Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. With the intention of take care of the next generation of researchers in the field of plant science, the Fellowships give an opportunity for talented junior investigators to build up their own research program and become innovative leaders in the field. The Sainsbury Laboratory is a new research institute, providing an exceptional scientific environment. It has outstanding resources and core facilities, with modern equipment and instrumentation including growth rooms, glasshouses, microscopy and computing facilities. It provides a collaborative, a mutual atmosphere where young scientists can take risks in a compassionate environment. What does it covers?
Funds include full salary, benefits and £40,000 p.a. of unrestricted research support.
