Drivers Introduction and Its Performance:

Introduction to Computer Drivers:

Most of all we are acquaint, familiar with software drivers. They are software programs which come with hardware or a pre-set PC. We will just explain that, what’s their importance?
What is its performance let me explain it in details? As the name implies, drivers are the
software programs that ‘drives’ the hardware. This might be a complicated concept and idea to take hold of. For instance. A car driver is responsible for ‘driving’ a car, and without him, the car cannot move. Car is not anything unless it is not going to run or drive.

The same conclusion is applies on computer hardware. The software drivers operate as ‘drivers’ for the hardware. Without them, the computer cannot recognize the hardware, and thus, is unable to use it. There is mostly and need of a special driver for every different product. Otherwise, there is one driver for a series of products For Instance, NVIDIA drivers for Geforce Graphics Cards and Intel drivers for Motherboard.

Drivers Importance:

Just now there is a need of its importance to explain. It has been observed practically that drivers have massive impact on the performance of the hardware. That’s why; they need to be optimizing from time to time. General benchmark tests shows that new drivers significantly raise the performance of the same hardware. It is good for the drivers to be update and it is updated free from the internet by doing this it affecting a better performance. All you have to do is to download new drivers from your hardware manufacturer site after every three (3) months, or whatsoever time suit you, and then install them as a program. This can improve the performance of your hardware by up to 5% to 50%!

As an example, I want to tell you how to install drivers for your NVIDIA Graphics Card, as graphics cards are most affected by driver improvements. Firstly, you need to download the latest drivers from NVIDIA. Select your product and your operating system, and download the recommended drivers.

Drivers Download Solution:

When your download is finished then, after downloading, first removes the old drivers so that have clean install. You must have an administrator account to update your drivers. Then uninstall your previous drivers. For this reason you should go to, control panel.

For Windows XP and older version:
Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs (See the procedure below)!

For Windows Vista:

Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and features.
